We don't want to say we lied a lot when we were kids, but we definitely forged our parents' signatures on many school forms. It's not because we were afraid to show them, we would simply forget to show them until it was too late. That's what happens when your backpack is like a black hole of crumpled up papers, Pokémon cards, and random pens and pencils you collected over the years.

…still nothing? It's because hoomans can't have “their own” cats, but that doesn't stop us from calling them our children. They may all be adopted, but we'll never tell them that. And we'll never admit it to others, because how else would we explain having to leave early from a social engagement because of “our kids”, if we didn't actually have any kids?
